meeting the people

i just had this 'weird' cohesion thing with my unit at bugis. we played a few games at the theatre itself, and watched The Kingdom. it wasn't a bad film, but just wasn't a personal favourite. but the point is, can you believe how weird it is to actually go out with your army-mates (not 1, but a battalion of them) ? imagine the attention: a whole bunch of guys walking around bugis. thank goodness we're not wearing no. 4. that's why we have to reach the place at 7.50AM, to reduce the attention we are drawing. oh, we even have this gift exchange program, you know, the usual christmas must-have? i prepared this belgian chocolates for the day and in turn, i received fake ferrero rocher. well... i don't ask for much, at least i didn't get kiwi brushes or stacks of A4 paper. but still, weird it may be, the cohesion was a good way to have fun.

the past weekend was fun. i did some shopping and got myself some apparels. i was in need of a wardrobe do up. it has been staling for quite a bit recently. and with the arrival of the festive season and li jun's wedding (of course), shopping is a necessity!

oh, i've got a Facebook account! i've been playing around with it for the past weekend. it's really very fun! there are so many interesing applications you can add to your account and interact with your friends. definitely better than Friendster, by a mile! okay, it may be a little intimidating at first when you see so many things going on, but once you surf around for a while, you'll get the hang of it. ;)
