eve of the big day

and so, counting down to christmas...

i went out with my bros again today, but it's kind of different this time round. they all brought their girlfriends along. and i finally see xueting for the first time! well, first impression counts. and i'm glad that my first impression with her was a good one. she's a very nice person! kind of quiet around us though. and seeing how much time zhenhao takes to "warm up" to people, we thought the couple would be a quiet one. much to our surprise... they are really, really chatty when they're alone. (we can hear, okay. hahs.)

after lunching at dragonboat, where the dimsum is not exactly up to expectations, we went over to NUS high school to meet joan. she showed us around the school. pretty big and new, but nothing surprising. but that's not the point. what's interesting is the ride i had after visiting the school. while the others took a cab down to orchard, joan fetched me there. yes, with her bike! and oh boy was the ride exciting, and cooling. and although irritating to the eyes sometimes (due to the strong wind acting against my face), it was very memorable. it's different when you ride on a bike in malaysia and in singapore. it felt more dangerous here and was definitely, ADRENALINE-DRIVEN!

later that day, val sent us to dhoby ghaut with her car. all the girls got their car license already. i'm so jealous. hahs. i need to get mine soon!

oh, i just saw lijun's wedding photos. she look really different, differently good! and tomorrow's her big day. congrats again!
