worth my every cent

i've just attached a song. i know probably all of you have heard this before, but it's slightly different. it's an acoustic version of chasing cars. i first heard this version on grey's anatomy and it totally blew me away.

my both thumbs up to the music directors of grey's! the music used in the show is just p-e-r-f-e-c-t. the right song always appear at the right moment, right time, it's no wonder the show's so popular. i really can't wait for season 3. yes, channel 5 is currently showing it, but i've missed the first few episodes. i shall not be tempted to watch it unless i find some way to catch up.

anyway, i have this long break this week, starting from wednesday. tuesday was my birthday and dinner was great. we went to this restaurant Vittles, who claimed they were the pioneers of Cafe Cartel. as the restaurant is situated at quite a deserted place (sembawang cottage), and coupled with the fact that there weren't many customers around, i did have my hesitations at first. but, well, they were true. the food there is way better, especially the pastas. and plus it's definitely much cheaper than Cartel. although the place is slightly ulu, you'll grow to like it if you're one who is particular about having a quiet and relaxing dinning ambience. oh, did i mention they do not charge GST or service charge?! it's definitely worth trying.
