sleep all you can
and so, i was forced to return to camp because i was caught sleeping in bunk. reached at 0700 and took my time to change, thinking what next. i supposed we had to do some area cleaning, which was what we had to do when we were, unfortunately, caught sleeping. perhaps the entire accommodation block? (that will be scary) plus the admin block? god. what if they ask us to clean all the toilets? or all the training sheds? won't we have to stay through the night to finish up? curiosity got the better of me so i pop the golden question when i met sgt tai.
"erm sergeant, what are we supposed to do?"
he thought for a while, furrowed his brows before saying,
"nothing."
"huh?"
"just stay in your bunk."
and so, we spent the entire morning in our bunk catching up on all the sleep that we lacked for the past week. i finally understand the feeling of being confined. with absolutely nothing to do but sleep. thank god we were released at about 1300. i can't imagine what i'll become if i have to sleep for the entire day.
lesson learnt: sleep tactically or you'll sleep your weekend off. ;)
