everything is average nowadays

met eugene when i was waiting for the bus at marina square. okay, techically speaking, i only saw him. didn't talk to him as he was too engrossed in entertaining the crowd on the ducktour bus. he's actually working as a tourguide now! really interesting, and according to him, the pay is pretty good too. a really good consideration for post-NS-pre-U life. ;)

staje agm coming next sat. hopefully i can join in IF i'm not involved in the ndp rehearsal (again).

i just received my new uob debit card (the one below. the one above is my previous card). 3 reasons why it sucks:

(thank god the rebates made up for the shortcomings.)

1) the looks. it's really ugly, especially with the big NOW word on the card. and quoting my sis, it really looks like a best-denki member card. the previous one is so much nicer.

2) ez-link. the card can be used as an ezlink. okay, this should be a plus point but i have my own SAF ezlink! now, with 2 ezlinks, the scanner always beeps & says error when i tap them. so attention-grabbing, especially when the scanner beeps really loudly.

3) the most annoying thing: the inclusion of an annual renewal fee of $18! it used to be FREE, bloodsuckers!
