keep holding on

phew- the past few weeks had been quite hectic. but i did enjoyed myself! time really does fly huh. it's already coming to the end of february. ;)

anyw. over the cny holidays, i went over to malaysia to visit my relatives. i shan't elaborate further, i'll let the pictures do the talking. ;)

this is my family! it's been long since we have taken a family photo.
and the following is my cousin's family.

we were at a coffee shop where we were served by this incompetent waiter who got all our orders mixed up & even gave us a big cny present by overcharging us by about 40 bucks! you should have been there. i was really pissed.

though i've sworn off gambling, i still did a little at malaysia, with ringgit. had a little winning streak in the beginning too, though in the end, i lost everything. hah. and the guy on the left in the photo above is my cousin. he slimmed down A LOT.

it's been a really great trip.

well, moving on to what has happened throughout the weeks... i spent $12 for a performance which i thought would be really great. in the end, it was a far cry from disappointment. it was even worst. and i thought chinthin would be acting! end up she's just the curtain girl. you know? the girl who handles the curtains? switch on/off so that the curtain can close/open? thank god we had this hideous specs, which wai bought, to entertain ourselves with.

and after the utterly disappointing performance, we even had to further entertain ourselves by squatting down in public to take pictures in order to make up for lost times.

we came across this pictorial advertisement and i was forced to take a picture with justin, pretending to be the couple in the advertisement. i think fish & xinjie did a better job.

haha. as what i've said in the beginning, i did alot in the past 2 weeks. i even caught some really great movies. but my favourite among all is Juno.

in a nutshell, this show is about Juno, a 16 year old girl who was pregnant and found herself having to deal with all the struggles and attention as a teenage pregnant mum. i guess the thing i like most about this film is the dialogue. watch it and you'll find how witty and smart it is.

well. it's been a really long entry.
2008 has been quite special so far. there's even a 29th feb! happy 5th year old, yuerong. ;)
