birthdays are happy days

went out with my jc school mates today. the outing kind of turned out okay. at least people came! for the past few outings, the turnout was always pathetic. but this time round, though only 7 came, it is considered a success.

anyway, i met with wei din & xavier at suntec (again) first for some window shopping for watches. you know, i always have a HUGE fetish for watches. though i don't really any collections to flaunt, i'm still content just to look at them, or go into watch galleries and pretend that i have the cash to buy them. and oh, recently, i saw this Bvlgari Assioma watch... it was... love at first sight.

my birthday is coming soon. it's only 11 months away. anyone?

speaking of birthdays. it's su yee's b'day! okay, not exactly today, but we celebrated with her today. we bought this HUGE cake from secret recipe. it was expensive, but it's really worth it, seriously. it was like about 10inch large?! we, a total of 7 peeps, with 4 guys, could only finish half of it. end up su yee had to bring the other half back home. but this cake, Chocolate Indulgence, is, quoting xavier, "really god-like"...

"Creamy and rich Belgian coverture chocolate and white chocolate filling. Absolutely a luscious, luxurious, sinfully rich chocolate lover's dream."

it's really true! but if you eat too much of it, like xavier, who tried to eat ONE QUARTER of the cake, it can get a little sick.

anyway, it's also val's b'day today. happy birthday girl. stay pretty and lovey dovey with that monkey okay. all the best!
